My roots are in Denton, where I attended Pecan Creek Elementary, Crownover Middle School, and Ryan High School. That sense of community shapes how I do business: wherever you call home in Texas, you deserve to be treated like a neighbor.
After several years in the roofing industry, I saw how much a damaged roof could ask of a homeowner—not just financially, but emotionally. Families were facing major expenses and difficult decisions at a time when they were already dealing with the aftermath of a storm. I kept asking myself why the homeowner seemed to be carrying the heaviest burden.
I saw an industry where there was money to be made, but I felt there needed to be more attention on the people paying for the work. That sense of unfairness is what led me to start Forest Ridge Roofing. I wanted to help as many people as possible, make worthwhile improvements to their homes, and bring more care and fairness to a situation they never asked to be in.
For me, that means listening before recommending, explaining the options clearly, and looking for opportunities to improve a roof in ways that make sense for the home and the homeowner’s budget. A disaster is hard enough. Getting your home back in shape should come with patience, respect, and someone who takes your concerns seriously.
